The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications.

Front-end web developers are responsible for designing of a website, how a website looks. They create the site's layout and integrate graphics, applications (such as a retail checkout tool), and other content. They also write web design programs in a variety of computer languages, such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax etc. 

Some web developer also tests the code, solve bugs, design the code.
