Nurse Job Description: 

Nursing jobs is not only treating with patients who are sick and injured, but also offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, helping doctors diagnose patients, taking care of paperwork, and providing advice and follow-up care.  

Nurses also support to patients in every time and any conditions. They look after the patients in every moment. 

 

Duties of Nurses: 

  • Assessing and planning nursing care requirements 

  • Providing pre- and post-operation care 

  • Writing records 

  • Supervising junior staff 

  • Organizing workloads 

  • Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions 

  • Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures 

  • Providing emotional support to patients and their families 

  • Tutoring student nurses 

  • Support to doctors also 

  • Check the environment of hospital / clinic 

  • Check cleanliness of patient's room and tell about cleaning staff member

Entry Requirements for Nurse: 

Academic entry requirements for an adult nursing degree are set by individual universities. Typically, you will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above (possibly in English language or literature and a science subject), plus two A levels or equivalent level 3 qualifications.
