Graphic Designer Job Description:
Graphic Designers create visual concepts, using different computing software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. Graphic Designer develop an overall sketch of design for various applications such as advertisements, magazines, banners and brochures etc.
Responsibilities of Graphic Designer:
Graphic Designer perform following responsibilities.
Meet with clients or the art director to determine the scope of a project
Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
Determine the message the design should portray
Before presenting design to client check the design carefully
Present the design to clients or the art director
Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
Create images that identify a product or convey a message
Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
Select colors, images, text style, and layout
High level time management skills
Requirements:
Strong level graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with latest design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
Keen to learn new ideas and new technologies

A designer with primary level experience earns between $45,000 and $55,000 in the US on average. But skills and experience are playing good roles in salaries.
